- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is their assessment of the comments of Mr Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, on juvenile justice, pre-trial detention of elected representatives and others, demining of villages and resettlement of refugees in Turkey.

The Government welcome Mr Hammarberg’s recent comments on juvenile justice, pre-trial detention of elected representatives, demining of villages and resettlement of refugees. We consider Mr Hammarberg to be an authority on this subject.
