- To Ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the status of the Action Plan launched by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate to facilitate licensing of new honey bee medicines.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate's (VMD) Action Plan on the Availability of Medicines for Bees is published on the VMD website (www.vmd.gov.uk). It is an ongoing action plan, agreed with stakeholders, and was last updated in July 2010. The VMD and stakeholders are taking forward all the agreed actions. A meeting to review the action plan is expected to take place in January 2011.
