Prisons: Personnel

- To ask the Secretary of State for Justice whether the Prison Service records the time taken by (a) prison officers and (b) other prison staff in collecting fresh clothing for inmates; and if he will make a statement.

The National Offender Management Service does not record this information. The arrangements for issuing freshly laundered clothing to prisoners, and the extent to which staff are involved, vary between prisons according to security factors and the layout of the establishment.
