Higher Education: Funding
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether under the proposals from Lord Browne of Madingley two-year foundation degrees are included in the student finance proposals for loans to cover tuition and maintenance.
- Answer
-
Lord Browne's review proposes that students receive public support for learning and living through the student finance plan. The proposals assume that this support continues to be available to students on all currently eligible higher education courses, including foundation degrees. The Government will consider the detail of this in its response to the review.
