Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Education (1) how many pupils in further education colleges were entered for a modern foreign languages A-level in (a) comprehensive schools, (b) maintained selective schools and (c) independent schools in each year since 1997; and what proportion this represented of the total number of pupils entered for A-levels in each such case;
