Access to Work Programme

- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what plans he has for the funding of his Department's Access to Work Scheme in the period to 2014-15; and what criteria he plans to use to determine eligibility of support from the Access to Work Scheme in the same period.

The Department has now received its budget settlement following the spending review. We are now in the process of setting programme budgets.Government will continue to review welfare to work programmes to ensure the support they provide remains appropriate, effective and value for money. We are committed to ensuring disabled people are given the right support they need to get a job and remain in employment.There are no plans at present to change the eligibility criteria for the Access to Work programme.
