England and Wales Cricket Board

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the legal status of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Answer

Like many sports governing bodies in the United Kingdom, the England and Wales Cricket Board is a private company limited by guarantee, a legal status that enables it to concentrate on maximising its funding of the sport rather than making a return for investors.
