Waste Management: Brofiscin Quarry
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether the Appropriate Persons have been determined concerning remediation of Brofiscin Quarry; and, if so, whether they will be named.
- Answer
-
The Environment Agency Wales has completed its investigation to identify the ““Appropriate Person””. It now awaits an air quality study and report relating to the site, commissioned by the local authority. After considering this report and in the absence of any voluntary agreement for remediation, the Environment Agency will make a formal determination identifying the ““Appropriate Persons””.
