Iran: Iraq

- (2) what recent reports he has received on the supply to al-Qaeda of suicide vests by the government of Iran; and if he will make a statement.
- Answer

We have not seen recent reports of Iran supplying suicide vests to al-Qaeda. But we have longstanding and serious concerns about Iranian financial and material support to militia groups in Iraq, and the Taliban. We have repeatedly called on Iran to work with the international community to build a stable and secure future for the region.
