Global Peace and Unity Conference
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how many Ministers attended the Islam Channel Global Peace and Unity conference on 23 and 24 October 2010; what assessment he has made of the outcome of that conference; and what discussions he has had with (a) ministerial colleagues and (b) officials on ministerial attendance at the conference.

I attended the Global Peace and Unity event on 24 October on behalf of the Government. No assessment has been made of the outcome of the conference. Ministers and officials have regular discussions about ministerial attendance at public events.
