- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is their estimate of the annual value of the annual United Kingdom trade in owls; and whether they monitor websites related to this trade.

The UK Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) Management Authority (Animal Health) does not maintain records that would enable an estimate to be made of the value of trade in owls. Neither does the UK CITES Management Authority routinely monitor websites. It does so only if intelligence has been received indicating that they are being used for illegal trading purposes.
