NHS: Oxygen Supplies

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the financial basis for the remuneration of suppliers of oxygen to individual NHS patients at home.

The Home Oxygen Service (HOS) suppliers are remunerated on a per-diem basis. The per-diem cost is dependent on the flow rate of the oxygen and the hours prescribed per day. There are also a number of charge categories, which are fixed for each HOS supplier.
