Environment: Natural Environment

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will include, in the new White Paper on the Natural Environment, plans for formal surveys by local bodies on land parcels currently suffering significant neglect.

The public consultation for the natural environment White Paper closed on 30 October 2010. A report summarising the responses received will be published in December 2010, and the final natural environment White Paper will be published in spring 2011. The Government would not want to pre-empt the findings of the consultation or the content of the final White Paper.
