Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how much his Department spent on press cuttings services in each year since 1997.
Answer

The Scotland Office came into existence on 1 July 1999. We do not hold centrally figures for 1999-2000. The figures for 2000-01 onwards are shown in the following table:
