Housing: Insulation

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government pursuant to the answer of 27 July 2010, Official Report, column 888W, on insulation: housing, what monitoring he plans to undertake to assess whether his expectation that home insulation measures will continue to play a central role under the Government's new Green Deal programme is met.
Answer

I have been asked to reply.Through the Energy Bill, we will seek the powers to enable us to require regular reporting on the measures, including insulation, delivered under the Green Deal and a new Energy Company Obligation.
