Fluoridation

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answers by Lord Darzi of Denham on 20 May 2009 (WA 323-4) and by Earl Howe on 23 June 2010 (WA 187-8), whether the statement on the website of the National Fluoride InformationCentre that there is ““no evidence”” of ill effects on general health from water fluoridation is an accurate summation.

Yes, this observation remains accurate. There is no conclusive evidence of risks to systemic health from water fluoridated at the one part per million level used in fluoridation schemes in England.
