Waterways: Inland Waterways Advisory Council

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what was the cost in 2009–10 of the Inland Waterways Advisory Council.
Answer

The Inland Waterways Advisory Council (IWAC) receives its income from Defra and the Scottish Government. In 2009-10, Defra provided £181,713 and the Scottish Government £33,000, which is a total of £214,713¹. "¹ Source—IWAC’s annual report for 2009-10."
