Planning
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of whether the response of Natural England to planning application DCNW2008/1289/F to Herefordshire County Council is consistent with its obligations under Section 2 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 on conserving and enhancing the landscape.
- Answer
-
This Government have not made any assessment of Natural England's advice. Further, it would not be appropriate for the Government to comment on the merits of a planning application. To do so could prejudice a decision should an application subsequently come before Ministers; for example, on appeal.
