- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills whether his Department holds information on the funds held in reserve by universities in the Russell Group.

This information is not held by the Department. There is information about the financial health of the higher education sector in Universities UK's annual survey 'Patterns of Higher Education in the UK: 10th Report', published inSeptember 2010. A copy will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
