Protests: Water Cannon

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what guidance they have given to the Metropolitan Police about proposals to use water cannons to control crowd disorder.

I refer the noble Lord to the Statement that my right honourable friend the Home Secretary gave to the House on 13 December. Water cannon are not approved for police use in England and Wales.
