- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they plan to develop the quality standard for fractures, excluding those which occur at the head and hip.
- Answer
-
Additional work to assess the feasibility and scope for a quality standard for fractures, excluding those which occur at the head and the hip, is required before it can be referred to the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) for quality standard development. NICE has been commissioned to do this work and will report later in the year.
