Police: Misconduct

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what the percentage change was in the number of allegations of misconduct recorded against police forces in England and Wales between 2003-04 and 2008-09; and what assessment she has made of the reason for trends in the number of such allegations.

The Home Office does not hold this information, which is a matter for the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
