Libya

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what modes of transport have been used to evacuate British citizens from Libya during the current unrest.
Answer

I refer the noble Lord to the Written Ministerial Statement given on 3 March 2011 (Official Report, Commons, col. 35-36WS) by my honourable friend the Minister for Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, on ““Libya: Consular Response””, in which he updated the other place on the efforts the Foreign and Commonwealth Office has made to help British nationals depart Libya.
