- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many potential students were reached by Aim Higher in each of the last five years; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 22 March 2011]: Aimhigher is managed by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). HEFCE have provided the following information on the number of potential students reached by Aimhigher.In 2009-10 Aimhigher reached 1,210,362 potential students. Due to changes in the monitoring procedures adopted by Aimhigher partnerships, comparable figures for previous years are not available.
