Alcoholic Drinks: Prices

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent assessment her Department has made of the effect on demand of trends in the price of alcohol.

In January of this year the Home Office published a review of the evidence base on the likely impacts of increasing alcohol price. This complemented a Treasury report published in November 2010 which reviewed alcohol taxation.
