In Worksop, social enterprise businesses have been developed in carpentry and catering and the company will continue to explore, with the factory employees, any social enterprise opportunities in their local area. The recent voluntary redundancy exercise has been offered to all staff in Remploy's Enterprise Businesses including staff in Worksop. The company have confirmed that no factory will close as a result of this exercise. There are no plans to change the use of the site and we are not aware of any discussions with Bassetlaw council, or other parties regarding any change of use, value of or sale of the Worksop site.
