Armed Forces: Bomb Disposal
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government in how many cases of death, injury or repatriation of high threat operators was stress a contributory factor in each of the past three years.
- Answer
-
Such an assessment would only be possible by undertaking a thorough scrutiny of personal medical records, which can only be viewed for non-clinical reasons after obtaining the express consent of each individual concerned, to protect patient confidentiality. This would incur disproportionate cost.
