Horserace Totalisator Board
- Question
- (2) what anti-embarrassment clauses he has put in place as part of the process to determine the future of the Tote;
- Answer
-
For the time being the details of the process for resolving the future of the Tote remain commercially sensitive. I have already outlined as much as I can at this stage to Parliament, in written statements and adjournment debates, and I hope to announce more (including the name of any successful bidder) later in the spring in line with the timetable set by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in Budget 2011.
