Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisations Summit

- To ask the Prime Minister whether he plans to attend the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisations summit in June 2011.

I am pleased that the Government are hosting the Global Alliances for Vaccines and Immunisations summit this June. This is an important moment for the international community to come together to help GAVI meet their ambitious plans to vaccinate 250 million children by 2015. For security reasons, my engagements are announced as and when appropriate.
