CAFCASS: Qualifications
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Education what level of qualification the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service requires for those staff it employs to assess cases.

CAFCASS practitioners are required to have a Diploma in Social Work, or an equivalent recognised by the General Social Care Council. They are also required to have a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in social work with children and families at risk.
