The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has made no payments directly to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the last three years.The Department is, however, unable to identify from central records how many subscription or membership fees have been paid to professional organisations. Most subscriptions and memberships are paid direct by staff from their own resources and claimed, authorised and paid through the staff expenses system.
