Written question asked by Lord Ashcroft (Conservative), in the House of Lords. It was answered by Lord Howell of Guildford (Conservative) on Wednesday, 25 May 2011.

Government: Ministerial Visits

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government when was the last time a Minister visited Nauru.
Answer

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has no records of a Foreign Office Minister visiting either Nauru or Tuvalu. Lord Howell was, however, able to meet a representative from Nauru when he attended the Pacific Island Forum in Vanuatu last August, but unfortunately was unable to meet a representative from Tuvalu.
