Rural Development Programme: Yorkshire and the Humber

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what arrangements are in place to ensure the use of funding available to Yorkshire and the Humber under the Rural Development Programme for England.
Answer

We are currently reviewing the budgets for future years of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) as part of the move to a more nationally consistent approach to delivery for the rest of the programme, and it is our intention that available budgets for Axes 1, 3 and 4 of the programme should be fully utilised. The Yorkshire and the Humber region's RDPE resource allocation for 2011-12 is £12.35 million.
