Fluoridation

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answers by Earl Howe on 6 June (WA 40-1) and 30 June (WA 464-5), what methodology public health observatories use to detect possible adverse health effects from water fluoridation.
Answer

The Public Health Observatories review and monitor data on mortality, hospital admission, cancer registration, consultations in general medical practice and undertake disease-specific surveys relevant to their local areas.
