Fluoridation

Question: To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answers by Earl Howe on 6 June (WA 40-1) and 30 June (WA 464-5), what methodology public health observatories use to detect possible adverse health effects from water fluoridation.

Answer: The Public Health Observatories review and monitor data on mortality, hospital admission, cancer registration, consultations in general medical practice and undertake disease-specific surveys relevant to their local areas.
