Proceeding contribution from Lord Young of Cookham (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 14 July 2011. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.

Business of the House

I am sorry to hear of the increase in burglaries in Wolverhampton now that the price of gold has gone up. I would like to touch base with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills to see whether such a registration scheme might be cost-effective in reducing the incidents of such burglaries or tracing those responsible for carrying them out.
