Business question from Ian Murray (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 14 July 2011. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.

Business of the House

The Scottish National party has decided to impose huge tuition fees on English students who go to Scottish universities. Given that the SNP previously called those tuition fees both ““discriminatory”” and ““anti-English””, and that it has said that the"““added cost of a 4 year degree means we won't see English students going to Scottish Universities””," may we have an urgent debate on the impact that those politically motivated policies, which are designed to promote a separatist agenda, will have on both English students and our wonderful Scottish universities?
