Proceeding contribution from Lord Young of Cookham (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 14 July 2011. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.
Business of the House
My hon. Friend might be opening a bidding war in stating that he wants the green investment bank to be located in Leeds—I am sure that other hon. Members think it could be located in their constituencies. I would have thought that the benefits of Yorkshire would speak for themselves as a holiday destination, but I am sure that VisitBritain will do what it can to promote York, along with—I hope—Hampshire.
