Prisoners: Self-harm

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord McNally on 23 June (WA 349), whether disciplinary action was taken following the report into the incident of self-harm at HMP Woodhill on 18 April commissioned by the Governor.

The investigation into the incident was completed on 5 July 2011. The governor concluded, in the light of the findings of the investigation, that no grounds existed on which to justify disciplinary action. The investigation made a number of recommendations and these are being taken forward by the governor.
