Animals: Scientific Procedures

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they intend to implement a ban on the use of animals in the testing of household products.

I made a Written Ministerial Statement on 18 July 2011 (Official Report, cols. WS 101-02), explaining how the ban will be implemented and that consultation is to be carried out on a number of related issues. Further details of implementation will be made available when that consultation has been completed.
