Further to the announcement made by the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, my right hon. and learned Friend the Member for Rushcliffe (Mr Clarke), on 29 June 2011, Official Report, column 984, I can confirm that the Cabinet Office is responsible for the distribution of the England portion of the £20 million fund for not-for-profit advice providers. Cabinet Office officials are working with the Treasury and my Department on agreeing the criteria for funding. Further details of the funding criteria and process will be announced by the Cabinet Office in the next few weeks.
