Gang Injunctions

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many injunctions to restrict the movement of persons accused of gang membership have been issued in (a) England and (b) London since their inception.
- Answer

The Home Office does not collect data on a mandatory basis on the use of gang injunctions by local authorities and the police and so we cannot give a definite number. We know of seven gang injunctions in London, two in Bristol and one in Manchester.
