Children: Protection

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education when he last had contact with the Local Safeguarding Children Board in Birmingham on arrangements for deaf children; and if he will review the existing arrangements.
Answer

Ministers have not had contact with the Local Safeguarding Children Board in Birmingham on this issue recently. The Local Safeguarding Children Board, rather than Government, is best placed to decide priorities in that locality.
