Railways: Fares

- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport with reference to section 30 of the coalition agreement on rail pricing, what steps her Department has taken in respect of its commitment to fair pricing for rail travel.

This Government recognise the serious concern about rail fares—that is why we secured the funding to keep the increase in average regulated rail fares to an average of RPI+1% for 2012.
