Honours and Decorations Committee

Question
To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the remarks by Lord Astor of Hever on 26 October (Official Report, col. 856), when the undertaking to carry out an independent review of the Honours and Decorations Committee will begin; who will chair it; and what the terms of reference will be.

I refer the noble and gallant Lord to the answer given by my right honourable friend the Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans (Andrew Robathan) in the other place on 9 November 2011 (Official Report, col. 368W) to the honourable Member for Bridgend (Madeline Moon).
