Vagrancy
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they have any plans to reform the law on vagrancy in the light of the recent Occupy London protests.
- Answer
-
At this stage we have no plans to reform the law on vagrancy, but we are looking at whether any additional measures are needed to deal specifically with the issue of unauthorised encampments, such as the one outside St Paul's. No decisions have been made yet.
