Pupils: Per Capita Costs

- To ask the Secretary of State for Education how much funding was granted per pupil to Shropshire Council in (a) 2009-10 and (b) 2010-11.

Per pupil unit of funding figures for 2009-10 and 2010-11 for Shropshire county council are provided as follows. The figures are for all funded pupils aged 3-19:
Dedicated School Grants plus specific grants Funding per pupil (£) 2009-10 2010-11 Shropshire 4,450 4,690 Notes: 1. This covers funding through the Dedicated Schools Grant, School Standards Grant, School Standards Grant (Personalisation) and standards fund as well as funding from the Learning and Skills Council; it excludes grants which are not allocated at LA level. 2. These figures are for all funded pupils aged 3-19. 3. Figures have been rounded to the nearest £10.
