Piers: Redcar and Cleveland
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if she will provide funding for an additional traditional pier in Redcar and Cleveland.
- Answer
-
We have not received a funding request for a traditional pier in Redcar and Cleveland and, taken at face value, it seems unlikely a project of this nature would meet transport objectives and provide value for money under a transport appraisal.
