Prisons: Staff/Prisoner Relationships

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they will publish their response to the final report from the Prison Research Centre at the Cambridge Institute of Criminology, ““An exploration of Staff–Prisoner Relationships at HMP Whitemoor Twelve Years On””, which was handed to the Home Office on 23 June.

The report, An Exploration of Staff-Prisoner Relationships at HMP Whitemoor Twelve Years On, commissioned by the Home Office as an external piece of research, has undergone formal review processes and will be published in due course. The National Offender Management Service will be reviewing the findings of the research and its implications for policy and practice.
