Disability: Children

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will assess the findings of the report entitled Disabled Children and Health Reform: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities, published by Every Disabled Child Matters and The Children's Trust; and if he will make a statement.

Answer: The Department has considered the recommendations set out in the report entitled 'Disabled Children and Health Reform: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities', published by Every Disabled Child Matters and The Children's Trust.A detailed response to each of the recommendations within the report was sent in correspondence between my noble Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Earl Howe) and Every Disabled Child Matters.A copy of this letter has been placed in the Library.
