- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of the legitimacy of the outcome of the recent presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Answer

We share the concerns of some observation missions about the irregularities, some serious, during the recent elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, no observation mission has yet judged that the overall result of the presidential election would have been changed by these irregularities. We await their final reports.
